BBCode is what you see in your menu when you are making a post, for items such as B (bold) and i (Italics). If you are making a post, you will see that in the lower left of the screen there is a list of OPTIONS and the BBCode is highlighted, so you can click on that for more details. That will explain the basics.
Over the next few weeks, more BBCode options will be added to the LTS FORUM. We will also explain how to use the codes and provide examples. If we see you are trying to use the BBCode and it is not working, we will fix your post.
If you have tried to use a BBCode and it is not working, ask for help "after" you have read the instructions.

Re: What is BBCode?
A number of new BBCodes were added today (January 30, 2013) as the system goes into the "public mode". You will now see code to allow you to:
I can give you some basic examples in this post (BBCode turned ON) and in the next post I will show the same information (BBCode turned OFF) so you see how it is done.
Here is a link to an LTS picture that is on Photobucket so you can just show the link and that is all that appears, until you click on the link and the image opens:
http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f340/ ... oq9005.jpg
You can turn that into a "text link" by using the URL code which would appear as:
Horses Drinking Water
I could insert that picture into the text here using the LTSimage code to shrink the picture so it met the forum maximum size limit of 800 pixels:

Or I could insert it at 200, 100 and 50 pixels:

I did a quick search for an LTS video on YouTube and found this one:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S13SGAjraIY
Or with text (bold and italics as well):
Noah in January
If you want to insert that into the forum you use the last part code S13SGAjraIY with the YouTube BBCode:
I will be back with more information later! Watch the next page as it has all of this page with the BBCode disabled so you can see how it looks on your screen when you are making the post.
- insert an image URL and adjust the size,
- put in a divider line,
- show or hide text,
- or add videos from Google or YouTube.
I can give you some basic examples in this post (BBCode turned ON) and in the next post I will show the same information (BBCode turned OFF) so you see how it is done.

Re: What is BBCode?
Here is the POST ABOVE with the BBCode turned off. If you arrived at this post first, look at the post above that shows the end result.
A number of new BBCodes were added today (January 30, 2013) as the system goes into the "public mode". You will now see code to allow you to:
[list][*]insert an image URL and adjust the size,
[*]put in a divider line,
[*]show or hide text,
[*]or add videos from Google or YouTube.[/list]
If you want to add an image or video then you need to have that on a site where the image can be hosted, such as Photobucket or YouTube. You then put the link to that source in your message and use the BBCode to make it appear here on the forum (using the new codes added today).
I can give you some basic examples in this post ([u]BBCode turned[/u] [b]ON[/b]) and in the next post I will show the same information ([u]BBCode turned[/u] [b]OFF[/b]) so you see how it is done.

Re: What is BBCode?
Odd this works if I go to the post with the BLACK SCREEN video and PREVIEW it but it does not work live.
Let me try to REPOST it here - but that BBCode has been removed?
[youtube]S13SGAjraIY[/youtube]
It is picking up on the one that just has the raw code not the one in the YouTube code.
